Michael Fugle, D.O., F.A.C.O.S., F.A.O.A.O.

Dr Fugle has been providing quality orthopedic care to Oakland County for over 40 years, making him the most experienced Orthopedic Surgeon in the region.  He specializes in Minimally Invasive Joint Replacement Surgery, Trauma /Fracture Care, and General Orthopedics.

His accolades and accomplishments are numerous.  To list a few, he is a Veteran of the United States Air Force and graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kirksville College.  He serves as the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at POH Regional Medical Center.  He is an Associate Clinical Professor at Michigan State University and has been the head of the Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program at POH Medical Center since 1973.  He has trained more osteopathic orthopedic surgeons than any other program director in the nation.  He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.  Dr. Fugle was published in the “Top Docs`” Magazine in 2005.  He has been Educator of the Year numerous times at POH Medical Center and was given the American Veteran’s Community Service Award.
